Music in the Occupied Poland
This project was intended to present the music of Chopin and the unique role it played in the context of the realities of occupied Poland. To this end, an multi-modular, international exhibit, as well as a chamber concert, organized at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw, were conceived as a reconstruction of wartime artistic events which were organized in the Polish capital.
Lutosławski and his Musical Ideas
As part of the Year of Lutosławski 2004 celebrations from February to May, the exhibit “Lutosławski and his Musical Ideas” was presented at the Ball Room of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. Elaborated by Prof. Jadwiga Paja-Stach and prepared by the PWM Edition with the financial support of the Witold Lutosławski Society, the exhibit was available until the middle of May, 2004. Subsequently, the exhibit was purchased by the Ministry of External Affairs, and subsequently shown in Polish diplomatic locations in Basel, Bern, Bratislava, Brussels, Bucharest, Kharkiv, Moscow, Beijing, Riga, and Tallinn.
