Beginning in 2009, on a motion by the Witold Lutosławski Society, Gabriela Bogusławska and Marcin Bogusławski award the yearly Witold Lutosławski Scholarship.

  • In 2012, the scholarship in the amount of $10 000 US was awarded to the composer Tomasz Jakub Opałka on a recommendation of the following jury: Elżbieta Markowska, Łukasz Borowicz, Krzysztof Jakowicz, Eugeniusz Knapik, and Jerzy Kornowicz. The scholarship will be used to fund two-year compositional studies with John Corigliano at The Julliard School in New York.
  • In 2011, the scholarhip in the amount of $10 000 US was awarded to the composer Marcin Stańczyk on a recommendation of the following jury: Łukasz Borowicz, Kazimierz Kord, Jerzy Kornowicz, Włodzimierz Kotoński, Jan Krenz, and Grzegorz Michalski. The scholarship was used for a course in composition and electronic music at the Paris research centre on sound IRCAM in the academic year 2011-2012.
  • In 2010, the scholarship in the amount of $10 000 US was awarded to the composer Andrzej Kwieciński on a recommendation of the following jury: Grzegorz Michalski (head juror), Jerzy Kornowicz, Zygmunt Krauze, Jan Krenz, and Jadwiga Rappé. The scholarship was awarded for the continuation of postgraduate studies at the Department of Composition of the Royal Conservatory of the Hague in the composition class of Professors Martijn Padding, Yannis Kyriakides, and Cornelis de Bondt.
  • In 2009, the scholarship in the amount of $10 000 US was awarded to soprano Łucja Szablewska for her postgraduate education at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
