A special concert titled “The Stars for Lutosławski” took place on the initiative of prominent Polish artists, friends and admirers of Witold Lutosławski.
On the initiative of prominent Polish artists, friends, and aficionados of Witold Lutosławski, as well as the Witold Lutosławski Society and Polish Radio Program 2, a special concert was organized – “The Stars for Lutosławski” (March 28, 2006, at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio). This concert was conceived to remind us the artistic profile of the great Polish composer. In an intimate atmosphere we listened to the music of the classics, as well as the lighter pieces of the Master himself. Known artists, most of whom knew the composer personally, agreed to appear on an honorary basis for the benefit of the Witold Lutosławski Society.
